James J Mousel
James J. Mousel, age 83 of Menomonie, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Oakwood Villa Care Center in Altoona.
Jim was the son of Nicholas and Anna Marie (Zimmer) Mousel. He was born in Menomonie and grew up on the family farm in Elk Mound. Later he moved into the Noreen Family Living Center in Menomonie in 1975. While living there, he worked at the Indianhead Enterprises, retiring in 1982.
Jim enjoyed gardening, camping and traveling with his group home family, he also participated in the Special Olympics. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan and also enjoyed cribbage and other activities at the Menomonie Senior Center.
Jim is survived by his sister, Kathryn Rolfe of Grand Junction, CO, 14 nieces and nephews, Greg of CO, Kelly (Brad) Plets of Altoona, Jeanne Mousel of Milwaukee, Mary (Robert) Myers, Theresa (Ab) LaRock, Tim (Brenda) Mousel, Bob (Vickie) Mousel, all of Eau Claire, Barb Meyer of Sun Prairie, Judy (Randy) Mayer of Fairfax Station, VA, Patty (Bob) Marlette of Boyceville, Debbie (Kevin) Swartz of Elk Mound, Carrie (Don) of Hudson, Rose (Ronnie) Hopper of Romeoville, IL and Tom (Pam) Mousel of Colfax, other relatives and friends.
