JoAnn M. Hince
JoAnn M. “Jo” Hince, age 52 of Pepin, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire due to heart problems.
Jo was born on March 20, 1962 in Durand. She was the daughter of Lyle and Darlene (Cataract) LaBrec. Jo grew up in the Arkansaw area and graduated from Arkansaw High School in 1980. On August 17, 1985, Jo married Lenis Hince at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Arkansaw. Jo worked for Pepin County Senior Services, delivering meals on wheels to seniors in the county.
Jo enjoyed spending her time fishing, gardening and had a love of horses and dogs. She loved to spend time with family and friends and always brought a smile to everyone’s face.
Jo is survived by her husband, Lenis “Lenny”, her two daughters; Tina (Fiancé Katie Freshour) Hince of Rochester, MN and Jolene of Durand, mother; Darlene LaBrec of Durand, two sisters; Bobby (Greg) Brantner of Menomonie and Judy Schlosser of Eau Claire, one brother; Dan (Sandy) LaBrec of Plum City, father and mother-in-law; Vernon and LaVerle Hince of Pepin, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father; Lyle LaBrec, maternal grandparents; Edith and William Cataract and paternal grandparents; Amelia and Charles LaBrec.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Arkansaw. Rev. Paul G. Czerwonka will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
