John W. Wolf
John W. Wolf, age 79 of Eau Galle, died June 23, 2014, at Oakview Care Center in Durand.
John was born October 18, 1934, and lived his entire life in the Eau Galle area. He was the son of John and Matilda (Kaufman) Wolf. He farmed and worked at Schlosser Lumber in Durand before retiring. John married Linda Seng and together they had six children. He loved country music, country living and his family.
John is survived by his six children, John M. (Sally) of Downsville; Don (Robin) of Menomonie; Ron (Heidi) of St. Louis Park, MN; Rick (Brenda) of Eau Galle; Candee (Daryl) Olson of Shoreview, MN; Randy of Ladysmith; eight grandchildren, Katrice (Garrett) McConnach; Breanna, Derrick, Blake & Devan Wolf; Mikaela, Teagan & Cordelia Wolf; two great-grandchilden, Mackenzie & Graham McConnach; two sisters, Dorothy (Dave) Anibas of Arkansaw; Cecilia Milliren of Plum City; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alfred and Galen; brother-in-law, Martin Milliren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Eau Galle with Rev. Jerry Hoeser officiating. Burial will be in St Henry's cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7PM Thursday at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
