Betty was such a loving Lady, I had done her hair for a while and really missed her when her daughter Renee would come without her. Loved her smiling face and always happy. She will miss a lot.

To the friends and family of Betty,

She will be greatly missed. My mom and dad (Howard and Nancy) will miss her a great deal. The trips to see the country music and the card games are great memories for them both.
i have great memories of Betty when I was a kid in 4-H and how close friends my mom and Betty were. I always remember Betty with the big smile and she was always such a caring and loving soul.
During this difficult time, keep the memories alive, the laughter, the love, and the warth she always had. the pain will pass but you will always have the special things to keep her close as the years pass.

Russell and family, I was so sorry to read of Betty's
passing away. I wish that I was able to be with you
all but wont be able to at this time. I will be 86 on
March 29th and have Parkinson's and it holds me
down somewhat. I don't care to drive after dark. I
don't have your address Russell. I would appreciate
hearing from you. Much love to all and may God be

It’s Tuesday, March 18, 2014. I found out from Terry last night about Betty’s passing. I want you all to know my thoughts and heart are with you now. I’m at work and I keep getting flashbacks of our times on the Rineck homestead.

Standing on the stoop to get up on Dolly’s back so I could get a ride (Dolly’s size scared the bajeebers out of me and she knew it) but, she sure was beautiful. Squirting the cats with milk (just the other day I was talking about the fresh milk we would get to drink when we came up for a visit). Running through the hayloft playing all kinds of bazaar thought up games. Blueberries, oh so many blueberries, they were in everything; pancakes, cereal, pies. To this day I have a hard time eating them, but not because I don’t like them. I do, it’s just we ate so many that mentally I’m still full. The trips to the bottoms, we would whine that going to the bottoms was boring but, by the time we left we would be filled with wonderful memories. That darn white shepard, “Rex” (I think was his name), you couldn’t turn your back on him without feeling the stern but not vicious clamp of his mouth on your tush. He was Betty’s first of many white German Shepards and oh how I wanted one after that first visit. All those memories and more followed by Betty’s laughter, she was always smiling and laughing what a beautiful thing. Those were the days and I have been truly blessed to be a part of them. I wish I could gift my daughter with one day of the joy we had back then.

So to Betty: May God welcome you home and your suffering vanish to be replaced with the warmth of the love ones who are with you once again. R.I.P. you’re finally home.
