Eva F Brysky
Eva F. Brysky, age 90, formerly of Pepin, died peacefully on December 14, 2013 at the Seminary Home in Red Wing. She was born March 12, 1923 in Sioux City, IA.
As a young girl, she moved with her family to South St. Paul, MN. It was there that she met and married Raphael Brysky on July 8, 1942. They raised the family in the St. Paul Park area and where actively involved at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Eva also worked several years at Armour.
In May of 1977, they moved to the Pepin area, where she remained until Ralph died in August of 2004. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Arkansaw.
Many people may remember her from T.O.P.S., which she helped start in the Pepin area, after having been a member in St. Paul Park. She was also active in a Homemakers/Extension group for many years.
Eva cherished the many wonderful friends she made during her life.
Eva is preceded in death by her husband, Raphael; brother, Ernest Weddle. Survived by children, Timothy (Bonnie) Brysky, Denise (Marvin) Turner, David (Rhona) Brysky and Rosemary (Clarence) Kappes; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Bettie Weddle.
Private family services will be held at a later date. If desired, memorials can be made to the charity of your choice in Eva’s name.
