Glorus M Lauer
Glorus M. Lauer, age 92 of Plum City, formerly of Arkansaw and Durand.

Glorus was the daughter of Emil and Mary (Andrews) Axelson. She was born in the Little Plum area, near Ella. She attended Arkansaw High School. On August 18, 1936 Glorus married Raymond Lauer in Elmwood. After marriage they lived and farmed in the Arkansaw area of Pepin County. In 1972 they moved to Durand, where they owned and operated the King Koin Laundromat until the mid 1980’s. Her husband Ray died June 1, 1990. She has been a resident of the Plum City Care Center for the past five years.
Glorus is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Wesley) Smuder of Cambridge, MN, Bonnie Fleishauer of Eau Galle, one son Bernard (Janice) Lauer of Menomonie, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one sister, Arlene Gifford of Hager City. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, an infant daughter, one son Duane, one grandson Robert Lauer, one brother Lyle Axelson and one son-in-law Roger Fleishauer.
