Edith A Weber

Edith A. Weber age 85 of Menomonie, died peacefully on Monday July 8, 2013 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie.

Edith was born in Menomonie May 9. 1928. She was the daughter of William C. and Elizabeth (Brehm) Kelley and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1946. Edith married Robert G. Weber October 5, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie. After marriage they lived and farmed in the Town of Lucas, Dunn County. In 1979 Bob & Edith built a new home on the edge of the farm and lived there until June 2007 when they moved to an apartment in Menomonie. For the past three years Edith has been a resident of the American Lutheran Home.

Edith enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, gardening, picking berries, crocheting, and doing ceramic work. For several years Edith hosted an annual craft sale at her home, selling her beautiful handmade items. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Church, St, Joseph's P.C.C.W, and Homemakers.

Edith is survived by two sons, Dick (Connie) of Menomonie; Bobby of Knapp; a daughter, Peggy (Noal) Harshman of Knapp; grandchildren, Scott (Julie )Weber; Lisa (Rob) Sedlak, Trisha (Joel) Thompson, Katie (Jim Ferguson) Harshman; Amanda (Pat) Miller; Holly Weber, Heidi (Brent) Anderson, Michael & Heather (Brandon Fuhrman) Weber; 16 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Kathleen Kelley of Menomonie; two brothers-in-law, Laverne (Donna) Weber of Boyceville; Gerald (Mary) Weber of Woodbury, MN; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert in 2008; an infant daughter Susan in 1956; three brothers, William, Donald and Paul Kelley.
