Earl M Fredrickson
Earl M. Fredrickson, age 92 of Plum City, died Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Plum City Care Center in Plum City with his family by his side.
Earl was born on August 28, 1920 in Plum City. He was the son of Arthur and Lydia (Stachli) Fredrickson. Earl married Catherine Scholz on April 19, 1941 at St. John's Catholic Church in Plum City, where he was still a member. They spent their life together farming and raising their eight children on the Scholz family farm in rural Arkansaw. Earl's beloved Catherine passed away at an early age of 44 and he was left to raise their two youngest children along with his farming. Earl remained single and was devoted to his faith and family. He was a shy guy but loved people and had time for everyone. He will surely be missed by his family.
Earl is survived by his three sons; Kenneth (Shirley), Jerry (Stephanie), both of Eau Claire and Mark of Arkansaw, three daughters; Mary Ellen Hague of Hollister, CA, Joann Fredrickson of Morgan Hill, CA and Janie Andrews of Eau Claire, one son-in-law; Ron Ginsbach of Elmwood, one sister; Edna Rundquist of Red Wing, MN, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Marlys Fredrickson of Ellsworth and Mildred Coulson of Plum City, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Catherine, an infant son; James, one daughter; Elaine Ginsbach, two granddaughters; Christine Hague and Carey Fredrickson, four brothers; Donald, Harry, Raymond and Lyle and one sister; Joyce Fredrickson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Janice Girard and The Seasons and Plum City Care Center Staff for there loving care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church in Plum City. Rev. Paul Czerwonka will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
