Betty J Chandler
Betty J. Chandler, age 73 of Elmwood, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire.
Betty was born on July 19, 1939 in Stone Lake. She was the daughter of Carl and Erma (Harrman) Lindell. Betty grew up in Stone Lake and graduated from the Stone Lake High School in 1957. She married Charles K. Lee and they later divorced. Betty worked Best Western in Menomonie for over 12 years. Betty married Frank "Bud" Chandler and they were married for many years before Bud passed away in 1994. In 1998, Betty moved to Elmwood where she remained the rest of her life.
Betty enjoyed going to the casinos with her sisters and friends, doing word puzzles and occasionally going to Country Fest.
Betty is survived by her children; Roxanne Bowell of Elmwood, Mike Lee of Florida and Machael (Larry) Hughes of Elmwood, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, three sisters; Carol Jerome of Hayward, Pat Montgomery of Stone Lake and Marion "Sis" Moyer of Hayward, one brother; Myren (Vera) Lindell of Stone Lake, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one granddaughter; Brenda Lee, one sister; Arlene Prather and two brothers; Eugene and Clint Lindell.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at The Longbranch Bar in Elmwood.
