Theresa J "Terry" Wood
Theresa J “Terry” Wood, age 77 of Eau Galle, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Terry was born on May 23, 1935 in Durand. She was the daughter of Vincent and Mary (Bauer) Berger. Terry married Harold Wood in February of 1955 and together, they just recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. The two of them were inseparable as they enjoyed their many fishing trips and venturing to new camp sites. Terry enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, planning for family events but especially spending time with her family. Many people enjoyed her poppy seed bread and beautiful cakes that she made and decorated. In 1997, Terry retired from Sanna Dairies in Menomonie after working there for 18 years.
Theresa is survived by her husband; Harold, her six children; Dean (Julie) of Menomonie; Pat (Jim) Black of Boyceville; Pam (Bob) Cutler of Chippewa Falls; Dave (Peggy) of Downing; Sharon (Dan) Dick of St Paul, MN and Joanne (Chris) Roehrborn of Oconomowoc, WI; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Hazel) Berger of Durand; two sisters, Margaret (Casper) Bechel of Mondovi and Dorothy (Robert) Pecha of Colfax; one brother-in-law, Carl Robelia of Durand, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Dunn County Health Care Center for the loving care and support they gave Terry the last two years.
