Lloyd "Ike" E Eiseth
Lloyd "Ike" E. Eiseth age 79 of Menomonie died Sunday November 4, 2012 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Ike was born on the family farm in the Township of Menomonie, along with his twin sister Lois, on August 31, 1933. He was the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Stokke) Eiseth. Ike married Elizabeth "Deedee" Einum on December 28, 1954 at St. Joseph Catholic church in Menomonie. They lived their entire life in the Menomonie area, where Deedee taught school for 37 years, retiring in 1989.
Ike graduated from Menomonie High School in 1950. Ike began working at American Brass in Kenosha, then for Andersen Corp. in Bayport, MN. Ike began a plumbing apprenticeship and attended the Wisconsin Plumbing School in Eau Claire. Ike became a Journeyman Plumber in 1962. He worked for Shoenoff Plumbing and later for the University of Wisconsin-Stout. In 1979 he became the Craftworkers Supervisor at Stout and held that position until he retired in 1994.
Ike was a 15 year member of Co. A. Wisconsin National Guard and was with the unit when it was called to active duty in 1961. He retired with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1965. He was a 40 year member of the Menomonie Lions Club and was Chairman of the Eyeglass Recycling project for many years. Ike was a member of the 32nd Division Veterans Association and the American Legion.
Ike was inducted into the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame for his bowling accomplishments. Ike loved bowling, golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time at the cabin in northern Wisconsin.

Ike is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Deedee"; a sister Betty Gesche of Menomonie; two brothers Francis (Violet) & family and Donald (Arlene) and family, both of Menomonie; two brothers-in-law, Pete Peterson & family of Menomonie and Xavier Mattei & family of Duluth, MN; a sister-in-law, Tiki Einum of Menomonie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Lois Peterson and a brother-in-law, Clarence Gesche.
