Patricia J "Pat" Schlosser
Patricia J. "Pat" Schlosser, age 61 of Durand, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at her home in Durand with her family by her side after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Pat was born on January 17, 1951 in Menomonie. She was the daughter of Kenneth Thompson and E. Kathleen Ness-Phillips. Pat grew up in the Menomonie and Eau Claire area. After graduating from Memorial High School, she went on to Chippewa Valley Technical College. Pat married Edward J. Schlosser on October 24, 1970 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Eau Claire. After marriage, Pat took care of her family and worked as a manager at the Pepin County Humane Society for 11 years. Also, she worked at ACE Hardware and McDonald's in Durand and the family business, Durand TV and Radio.
Pat enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, crafts and canning jams and jellies. Most of all Pat loved spending time with family and friends.
Pat is survived by her husband of 41 years; Ed, one son; Eric of Durand, one sister; Beth (Roger) Kuck Merrill, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Craig Thompson.
