Wilma J Weber
Wilma J. Weber age 72 of Elmwood, died on September 15, 2011 at the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home in Elmwood with her family by her side.
Wilma was born on April 13, 1939 in Elmwood. She was the daughter of Everett and Violet (Franklin) Turner. While growing up, Wilma moved several times between Elmwood and the State of Washington and while in Elmwood, she attended Elmwood Schools. Wilma married Robert Weber on July 28, 1956 at Sacred Heart Church in Elmwood. Wilma raised her family for several years and in 1969, she went to work for Sanna Dairies in Menomonie and worked there for 30 years. Shortly after retiring, Wilma was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. For the last five years, Wilma has been a resident of the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home.
Wilma liked to go camping, hunting, fishing and especially taking trips to the Rocky Mountains of Montana. She also enjoyed painting ornaments in her garage and going knickknack shopping. Most of all, Wilma enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Wilma is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert, two sons, Randy (Jolene) of Elmwood and Scott (Rogjel) of Menomonie, five grandchildren, Danny, Derek, Kevin, Justin and Sheena, nine great grandchildren, two brothers, twin brother, Warren (Daisey) Turner of Menomonie and Harold (Betty) Coram, MT, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Eldon, Paul, Archie and Everett Turner Jr., three sisters, one in infancy, Faye Ottman and Dora Hanson.
