Judy L Nelson
Judy Lee Nelson, age 67 of Eau Galle, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her home in Eau Galle with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was born on February 26, 1943 in Ladysmith. She was the daughter of Francis and Eugenia (Hayden) Kazmierkoski. Judy grew up in Ladysmith and graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1961. Judy married Warren Nelson on September 30, 1961 in Ladysmith. After marriage, they lived in various locations in Wisconsin before moving to Eau Galle in 1965. Judy worked as an office assistant for Dan Richardson Insurance Company and also for Schlosser Lumber Company.
Judy loved to work in her yard; she was especially proud of her beautiful flower garden. She also enjoyed decorating her home. Judy’s love for dogs was expressed in her support of The Humane Society. Most of all, Judy loved to spend time with family and friends.
Judy is survived by her children, Kevin, Kelly (Paul) Zeilinger and Kyle (Kelly), all of Eau Galle, four grandsons, Jacob, Lucas, Caleb and Cooper, two sisters, Virginia (Joe) Aylsworth of Troy, IL and Jeanette (Butch) Guns of Kewaunee, mother-in-law, Blanche Nelson of Ladysmith, two sisters-in-law, Vicki Nelson of Eau Claire and Linette Kazmierkoski of Bruce, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Warren, one brother, Jack Kazmierkoski, father-in-law, Henry Nelson, one brother-in-law, Wayne Nelson, one nephew, Gary Nelson and one niece, Jodi Shimko.
