Mary J Winter
Mary Jean Winter, age 71 of rural Mondovi died Saturday December 8, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born November 6, 1936 in Menomonie, WI. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Erma (Reitz) Kitchner. Mary grew up and lived in the Elmwood area until she married. On November 24, 1956 she married John Winter in Elmwood, WI. They moved to Tucson, AZ in 1958, where they lived for ten years. They moved back to Wisconsin with their five children in 1968 and have resided in the Mondovi/Durand area ever since.
Mary is survived by her husband John William Winter of Mondovi, her five children, John (Jane) Winter, Elmer (Lisa) Winter, Jodie (Amy) Winter, Kellee (Kent) Carothers and Gina (Rick) Werlein, all of Durand, 14 grandchildren, Jenna (Aaron), John, Jacob, Elmer (Monica), Tiffany (Ben), Justin, Amber, Megan, Ryan, Chad, Kari, Danica (Jake), Chelsi, Alyssa, four great grandchildren, Hunter, Autumn, Andrea and Cadyn, three sisters, Wilhelmina (Dennis) Traun of Durand, Kayleen (Kenneth) Noll of Durand and Debra (Craig) Flanders of Spring Valley, four brothers, Gary (Eileen) Kitchner of Durand, Bruce (Juel) Kitchner of eau Galle, James (Linda) Kitchner of Elmwood, Gregory (Marlene) Kitchner of Menomonie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Erma Kitchner, her sister, Joann Hartung, maternal grandparents, Edwin and Mary Reitz, her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Wilhelmina Kitchner and a niece, Tammy Kitchner Unser.
Mary will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
