Verla L Auth
Verla L. Auth, age 88, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2009 at the Oakview Care Center in Durand.
Verla was born February 28, 1921 to Sherman and Mayme (Kelly) Woods. Verla married James Auth September 16, 1943 in Elmwood. They lived in Arkansaw until 1953 when they moved to Eau Galle. She lived in Eau Galle until she became a resident of the Oakview Care Center in March of 2005. Her husband James passed away April 7, 1971.
Verla is survived by two daughters, Karol (Giles) Unser of Arkansaw, Donna (Gary) Pickerign of Elmwood, one granddaughter, Heidi (Curt) Graff of Menomonie, three grandsons, Joel (Melissa) McRoberts of Menomonie, Scott (Maureen) McRoberts of Eau Galle, Cory (Amy) Pickerign of Menomonie, nine great grandchildren, Layne and Ireland McRoberts, Tyler and Andrea McRoberts, Brianna and Chayce Graff and Kailyn, Hunter and Carly Pickerign, one brother, Eldon (Dorothy) Woods of Cottage Grove, MN, four sisters, Lila Tsczinka of Las Vegas, NV, Hilda Graser of Boscobel, Marlene Lind of Ellsworth and Lorna (Myron) of Mora, MN. Verla was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, a daughter, Marion Samuel, two brothers, Darrel Woods and Duane Woods and one sister, Verniel Ritchey.
