Roger R Hofacker

Roger Robert Hofacker, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2025, at his farm in Plum City, Wisconsin. Born on December 23, 1959, in Plum City, Roger lived a life deeply rooted in the land he loved and worked.
A graduate of Elmwood High School in 1978, Roger devoted nearly his entire life to farming, starting at a young age. By the time he was 8 years old, he was already driving a tractor and helping his father with the daily chores. Farming was more than just a livelihood to Roger, it was his passion, his way of life. It shaped the man he became: hardworking, dedicated, and grounded in the simple joys of nature. Though it demanded long hours and left little room for leisure.
Beyond his life on the farm, Roger had a variety of interests. He enjoyed reading, playing his guitar, listening to music, socializing with friends, and taking long trail rides on his bicycle. His curiosity and love of learning were always evident, and he carried a quiet but deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
Roger leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Loretta Hofacker of Durand; three daughters: Renea Hofacker of Eau Claire, Robyn (Mark) Andruszkiewicz of Thorp, and Quinn (Alek) Henseler of Two Rivers. He is also survived by his siblings: David (Tammy) Hofacker of Menomonie, and Linda (Fred) Hamer of Indianapolis, IN. Roger will also be missed by a niece, nephews, cousins, and friends who were fortunate enough to know his humorous spirit.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Leon Hofacker; his brother, Allen Hofacker; and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Roger and his older brother Allen Hofacker on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Molly's on Main in Plum City, Wisconsin, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. All are welcome to join family and friends in remembering a man who lived his whole life in the community and his loved ones.
Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.
