Allen A. Klink

Allen Anthony Klink age 89, of Menomonie, died Wednesday March 5, 2025, at Park View Home in Woodville.
Allen was born on December 14, 1935, in Arcadia to parents, Anthony and Florence (McDavis) Klink. He graduated from Arcadia High School in 1935, where he lettered in five different sports and proudly played every second of his senior football season.
After high school Allen attended U.W. LaCrosse, and in 1958 graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education. In 1958, Allen married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jane Patzner and were blessed with four children.
Allen taught and coached at Fairchild, Fall Creek, Fennimore and Menomonie High Schools. In August of 1967, he began his employment at U.W. Stout, in Student Services where he worked for 26 years. During his employment at Stout, Allen went on to obtain his second Master’s Degree, in the field of counseling and student personnel.
Allen enjoyed traveling throughout his life with his wife and family. His last memorable trip was to the Holy Land. He was an avid Packer fan who ventured to Green Bay for over 20 years.
He enjoyed giving back to the community by being a Hospice Volunteer in Dunn County.
His greatest joy was celebrating life moments with his family and friends. Allen was a beacon of light and support to all who were blessed to know him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Allen is survived by his four children, Robert Klink & Roxanne Oliver, both of Menomonie, Ronald Klink of Eau Claire and Kathy (Dennis) Aspen of Knapp; four grandchildren, Ryan Oliver, Morganne Bopple, Samantha Husby and Zachary Aspen; five great grandchildren; Alex, Lilly, Khloe, Travis and Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Betty and a sister, Renee Slaby.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday March 15, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
