Delbert C Clark
Delbert C. Clark, age 87 of Menomonee Falls, formerly of Menomonie, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
Delbert was born on May 12, 1922 in Menomonie. He was son of Fred and Anna (Anderson) Clark. Delbert grew up in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1946. At the age of 16 Delbert joined the U.S. Army during WWII and was at the battle of the bulge. After high school, Delbert attended Valparaiso Technical College in Indiana. Delbert then moved Milwaukee and worked at A.O. Smith for 30 years until retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Shriners.
Delbert was an avid HAM Radio operator; he also enjoyed bowling, spending time on the computer and playing his organ. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Delbert is survived by his sister Dorothy Clark of Menomonie, two brothers, Daniel Clark of Menomonie and Leonard (Bobbie) Clark of Rice Lake, several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Milford Clark, one sister, Mildred Mense and his wife, Hilda.
