Roger V Weber

Roger V. Weber, age 75 of Eau Claire, formerly of Durand, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his home in Eau Claire.

Roger was born on November 10, 1949 in Durand. He was the son of Herman and Lucille (Bauer) Weber. Roger grew up in the Lima community and graduated from Durand High School. He worked at Menards for over 40 years. Roger belonged to the Kiwanis and was very involved in volunteering various places. You could aways find him volunteering at Blugold events, especially basketball games.

He was a Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.

Roger is survived by his sister, Mary Jane Weber of Sheboygan, aunt Doris Weber, and several cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary in infancy.

Memorial Mass will be 11:30AM Friday, February 14, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima in Durand with Rev. John Zweber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Memorials are preferred in Roger’s name to the Indianhead Kiwanis Club, 818 Chapin St., Eau Claire, WI 54701.

    Roger was a great guy. We both grew up in the Lima area. I ran into Roger many times at Menards and we always had a nice visit. His family has my sympathy.
