Julie Lee Schladweiler age 64 from Maiden Rock, WI peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on January 21, 2025, at the Plum City Care Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 3, 1960, to Jacob and Isabelle (Kahabka) Helmeueller.

Julie grew up in St. Paul, MN, and graduated from South St. Paul High School. After high school, Julie attended Brown Institute and then accepted a job with the Army working in the IT department. After several years, she found her position at Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, MN. Julie retired from Southeast Technical College in 2024 due to her terminal diagnosis.

Julie married Gary E. Schladweiler on June 3, 1986. After marriage they lived in Maiden Rock, WI where they worked and raised their 3 sons on the family farm.

Julie always looked forward to family time at the cabin with her family, riding motorcycle with Gary, walks with her dog Izzy, traveling, utv rides and snowmobiling with her family.

Julie is survived by her husband Gary, and their three sons Brandon (Faith) Schladweiler of Maiden Rock, Josh (Karee) Schladweiler of Maiden Rock and Luke (Courtney) Schladweiler of Beldenville, WI; 8 grandchildren, Blakely, Brylynn, Jase, Brewer, Weston, Norah, Boone, and Broden Schladweiler; Nieces Missy Wieser & Jessica Woehrle; and her beloved dog Izzy.

Julie is proceeded in death by her parents Jacob and Isabelle, her mother and father in law Ervin and Elisabeth Schladweiler, three sisters Sally, Kathryn, and Laurie Jo and two brothers Billy and Baby Boy Helmueller in infancy.

The family of Julie would like to thank a special neighbor Donna Hoyt for comforting Julie the last couple weeks.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on February 15, 2025 at 1 p.m. Molly's on Main in Plum City, WI.
