After marriage they lived in Southern Wisconsin until moving to Stockholm in 1985 where they raised their family. Dennis farmed on the Edlin Farm for over 20 years. He also worked in the Maiden Rock and Bay City sand mines and Treasure Island before his health forced him to retire.

Dennis enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, gardening and taking care of the birds on his farm. Most of all, Dennis loved spending time and telling stories to family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 43 years, Julie; children, Crystal (Titus) Massaquoi of Secane, PA; Bob (Kayla) of Eau Claire and Jen (Paul) Bautch of Eleva, four grandchildren, Titus; Sophia; Gwenny and Everly, his beloved dog, Duchess, siblings, Jerry of Union Grove; Lori (Tom) White of Platteville; Sharon (Brad) Maier of Union Grove and Karen (Steve) Fortier of Kansasville, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Joan, brother Ed, parents-in-law, Richard and Shirley Walter.

The family would like to thank the Pepin Ambulance, Pepin County Sheriffs Office and the Lund Fire Department for their quick response to help Dennis. The family would also like to thank Joe and Jean Edlin for being great neighbors and opening up their farm to celebrate Dennis’ life.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00PM-5:00PM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Joe & Jean Edlin Farm at N2340 Edlin Ln, Stockholm, WI 54769.
