It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Barbara “Barb” Lynn Fedie. Barb, 59 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1965 in Eau Claire, WI. She grew up in Durand and graduated from Durand High School in 1984. After graduation, she attended U-W Stout in Menomonie and CVTC in Eau Claire.  

Barb also ran for Miss Durand and won 2nd Princess while also earning the title of “Miss Congeniality”. Barb loved to travel and thoroughly enjoyed being the Foreign Exchange Student Area Representative and Host Family.  

In her work she held various management positions at Fashion Bug, Hardees and Super America. She joined Mayo Clinic in August of 1988 where she dedicated 36 years of service.  

Barbs greatest joy in her life came on October 5, 1990, when her and Allen Klevgard were blessed with the birth of their son, Brandon. She considered motherhood to be her most important role. Her heart grew even fuller on April 9, 2012 with the birth of her grandson, Trysen. He became the light of her life. She often expressed that nothing compared to the love she had for her grandson. She truly was the best mom and grandma anyone could ask for.  

Barb had a zest for life like no other. She had a heart of gold, with the kindest soul. Her compassion, Kindness and love poured into everything she did and everyone she met. Her smile and laughter were contagious. She had a huge loving heart which surrounded her with so many loved ones and friends. Her personality was truly one of a kind, rare, but so special. She enjoyed doing so many different things with family & friends. Playing cards, games, painting pumpkins, cake decorating. Braiding her niece's hair, watching movies, fireworks, campfires, dancing, listening to music, hanging out laughing, joking and pranking. She was always the life of the party! 

Barb is survived by her son, Brandon Klevgard; Grandson Trysen Klevgard; Fiancé, Matt Stewart and family; Father, Dennis Fedie; Siblings, Denise Miske, Steve (Nicole) Fedie, Rodney (Rachel) Fedie and Mike (Kari) Fedie; nieces and nephews, Samantha Miske, Andrew, Evan and Eli Fedie, Makenna, Nicolas, Samuel and Raegan Fedie. 

Barb is also survived by her father, Ronald Holte; Stepmother, Rhonda (Larry) Kaszubowski, Siblings; Michele Friedel and Jason (Bev) Holte; nieces and nephews, Justin (Kelsey Hoverson) Friedel, Ashley (Eric Fallos) Friedel, Marissia Friedel, Carter and Carlee Holte. Great-nieces and nephews; Penny, Caleigha, Wynter, Clayton, Leo and Asher. Also, by Allen Klevgard family.  

Barb is also survived by many fur babies, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.  

Barb is preceded in death by her mother, Bernice (Risler) Fedie; Siblings, Janice and Jeremy Fedie; Brother-n-law, Jeffrey Miske; Grandparents, Andrew and Marian Risler, Clarence and Marion Fedie and Seymour and Lillian Holte, and Cleora Friedel. As well as other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  

Barb will be remembered for her ability to brighten the world of everyone she knew. We will carry on your love and kindness to honor you. We are truly blessed to have loved someone worth miss so very much. We LOVE YOU and you will never be forgotten. 

Memorial Mass will be 11:30AM Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima in Durand with Rev. John Zweber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00PM-7:00PM Tuesday at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
