Lance D "Simant" Stromberg
Lance Stromberg (Simant) 1/26/1951-9/26/2024
Simant was truly unique soul, an eccentric genius and a free spirit who embodied the essence of a modern-day Einstein. He was weird. He was quirky. He was himself. He was a lover of nature and lived life as a quiet, non materialistic hippie, with a deep knowledge of all religions as he was curious about every opinion before he formed his own. He was a student of this world. His best friends were animals & the earth herself. His talents were endless. He was a lapidary artist, jeweler, author, drummer, guitar player, and an exceptional green thumb. He approached everything with a touch of magic, as if he were a true wizard in a modern world. He moved through life with curiosity & quiet wonder, whether he was dancing, playing tennis, swimming, practicing yoga, or simply spending time in his garden. He was honest and always true to himself.
He is survived by his step daughter September Lukic, grandchildren Kassandra Pelletier, Arlo Stafford, River Hines, Magnus Lukic, Marko Lukic, sister Kathe Stromberg and many nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his soulmate and wife Penny, parents Leonard and Rosie Stromberg, sister Deneen Violett, and grandson Jonah Stafford.
Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.
