Robert A. Loomis
Robert Allen Loomis, age 70, of Knapp, WI, died Thursday July 25, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar in Menomonie, WI.
Robert was born July 13, 1954, to Ernest and Lillian (Meyer)Loomis in Lansing, IA, but grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA. Robert and his wife, Denise moved to Wisconsin in 2001, where he resided util his death.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Denise of Knapp, WI, his beloved dog, CoCo; a son, Steven Prochaska of Cedar Rapids, IA, a daughter, Angela Loomis of Biloxi, MS; a sister, Gloria, “Babe” Meyers of Cedar Rapids, IA; brother, Jerry of Loomis of Solon, IA; an uncle, Ralph Meyer of New Albin, IA, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Gayle Szyperski, brother-in-law, Marty Meyers and his beloved dog, JoJo.
