Kenneth J. Radle age 82 of Menomonie,
Died: Sunday May 31, 2009 at the Dunn County Health Care Center.
Ken was born June 9, 1926 in Arkansaw, the son of William and Barbara (Jungwirth) Radle, and grew up in the Arkansaw community. As a young adult, Ken moved with his family to a farm south of Menomonie on Cty. Rd Y. Here, Ken worked with his father on the farm. He married Patricia Nutter in 1951. Ken purchased the farm from his father and continued farming until he retired. Besides farming, Ken also worked around the area de-horning cattle and doing carpentry work. After the death of his wife, Patricia, Ken later married Hazel Link-Lemke. Hazel preceded Ken death in 1993. For the past eight years he has been a resident of the Dunn County Health Care Center.
Ken is survived by two sons, Michael “Radar” (Charlene) Radle of Menomonie; Keith Radle of Everett, WA; two daughters, Roxann Scheel (Gary Stalsberg) of Westby; Sharon (Al) Marks of Maricopa, AZ; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren; a brother Robert Radle of Menomonie; several nieces, nephews and many wonderful neighbors and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wives Patricia and Hazel; a son Arthur in infancy; 6 brothers, Carl, Clarence, Arthur, Raymond, Bernard, Paul; four sisters, Agnes Roessler; Margaret Weber; Frances Berger and Doris Radle.
Ken’s family would like to thank all of the nurses, staff and aides at the Dunn County Health Care center for their wonderful care give to Ken these past eight years.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday June 13, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Menomonie.
