Wayne A Kralewski
Wayne A. Kralewski, age 77 of Rock Falls passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on May 27th, 2024.
Wayne was born May 9th, 1947 in Durand, WI. He was the son of Wilfred and Arcella (Peterson) Kralewski. Wayne graduated from Durand High School in 1965. He then attended UW River Falls for one year in the Physical Education Department. In January 1966 Wayne met the love of his life, Mary Jane Fedie. They were married December 26,1966 at Holy Rosary Parish, Lima, WI.
Wayne held various jobs; The Durand Canning Factory, Presto and Food Services of America. In 2012 he retired from Nestlé after 20 years.
Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and camping. He started golfing in retirement and also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Wayne was very interested in his community. He was Town of Peru Chairman for 30+ years. He also served as a Vice Chair on the Durand Rural Fire Department Board for several years. Wayne was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 39 years and 7 of those years he was the Grand Knight. He was also a Charter member of the Rock Falls Sportsman’s Club.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Jane of Rock Falls; his children, Bill (Rebecca) Kralewski of Menomonie; Greg Kralewski of Elk Mound; Brandi (Tobe) Bowe of Augusta; Cindy Kralewski of Rock Falls; his grandchildren; Katlynn Kralewski of Parrish, FL; Sara Kralewski of Daytona Beach, FL; Seth (Katelyn) Kralewski of Menomonee Falls; Brenna Bowe (Mason Harshman) of Boyd; Ceara Ball of Eau Claire (who will always be his “Critter”); his brother Ronald (Marlene) Kralewski of Durand and sister Donna (John) Johnson of Chetek.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Arcella; brother Patrick Kralewski and niece Theresa Lane.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday June 3rd, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rock Falls with Rev. Tim Welles officiating.
Visitation will be preceding the mass from 9am-11am. A private burial will be held at a later date.
