Danny J Weinzirl, 60, son of Norbert and Leona (Bauer) Weinzirl born January 10, 1964 died March 16, 2024 at Regions Hospital in St Paul.

Danny was raised on the family farm in Eau Galle and after graduating from high school in Durand, attended Chippewa Valley Technical school in Eau Claire before moving to Denver.  Danny worked in Asbestos removal for many years.  Returning to the Durand area, Danny worked in construction and eventually achieved his long-time dream of starting his own business, Help-n-Hand. Danny resided in Eau Galle for over 15 years and then moved to Bay City.  His reputation for quality and prompt service in his business was appreciated by everyone.

Danny was a faith filled, long time member of St Henry Church and traveled many times with the Watermark Mission group repairing homes that were destroyed by natural disasters. Danny took great joy in serving others.

Danny enjoyed sports, flying his plane with his brothers, motorcycling, his drum set,  hunting and being with family and friends and most of all being a father.

Danny is survived by his son, Warren; daughter, Vesper and their mother, Kate. Further survived by his mother, Leona; his siblings, Geralyn (Steve) O'Neill, Rosemount MN; Roger (Kay) Weinzirl, Eau Galle; Lynette (Kim) Wagenbach, Durand; Randy (Sue) Weinzirl, Arkansaw; Barry Weinzirl, Eau Galle; one Uncle, Thomas (Dorothy) Bauer, 29 Palms, CA; nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Danny was preceded in death by his father Norbert in 2020.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2024 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Eau Galle with Fr. Jerome Hoeser officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the church on Monday.  Luncheon will follow in the parish hall. 

A Celebration of Life will also take place at a later date.
