Debra M. “Anibas” Larson, age 44 of Mondovi, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on December 10, 2007.
Many thanks to family and friends for all the cards, phone calls and keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Also, many thanks to Dr. Delmastro and the nursing staff at the Cancer Center, hospice home health nurses and Msgr. Klimek; they were always so compassionate.
Deb was born August 18, 1963 in Durand. She was the daughter of Ken and Sally (Martin) Anibas. Deb attended Lima School, Durand Middle and High School, graduating in 1981. She later attended Chippewa Valley Technical College and Cedar Rapids Community College, graduating in 1990. Deb worked as a Registered Nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire from 1990 until 2005 when she was diagnosed with cancer.
Deb is survived by her six children, Tiana and Zachary Weiss, Emilee, Taylor, Brett and Bryan Larson, her mother and stepfather, Sally and Norbert Stewart of Durand, two brothers, Jon (Karen) Anibas of Eau Claire and Todd (Renee) Anibas of Durand, five sisters, Carrie Anibas of Durand, Kathy Bernhardt of Eau Claire, Chris Peterson of Durand, Brenda (Scott) Hansen of Little Rock, AR and Amy Anibas of Waupan, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Anibas, maternal grandparents, John and Carrie Martin, her paternal grandparents, Tom and Dorothy Anibas, Aunt and Uncle, Donald and Jo Anibas and her cousins, Kim Anibas and Rod Wekkin.
