Arvilla M Clare
Arvilla M. Clare, age 88 of Hayward, formerly of Plum City, died Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Hayward Memorial Hospital in Hayward with her family by her side.
Arvilla was born on February 15, 1933, in Meridean, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Claflin) Bradshaw. She grew up in the Wilmington, IL, and the Rock Falls and Elmwood areas. Arvilla graduated Salutatorian from Elmwood High School. After high school, Arvilla met and married Eugene Clare on April 18, 1952, at the Ono Methodist Church in Ono, WI. After marriage, they farmed and raised their family in rural Plum City until they moved to Hayward in 1976.
Arvilla loved spending time with family and enjoyed computer games, crocheting, and reading. For several years, Arvilla enjoyed babysitting for several families in the Hayward area.
Arvilla is survived by her children, Cathy Bowers of Hayward, David of Plum City, Tim (Rhonda), and MaryBeth Lind (Terry Hogan), both of Hayward; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, one brother, Franklin Bradshaw of Scottsdale, AZ; one sister, Deb (Karl) Wolfe of Minneapolis, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eugene; brother, Reynold Bradshaw, and sisters, Eileen Churchill and Shari Hennessy, granddaughter, Stacia Weidenborner, and grandson, Sean Lind.
A Celebration of Arvilla’s Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Ono Cemetery, Ono, Wisconsin.
