Dorothy K. Niebur, “Dolly” age 75 of Plum City,
Born: June 14, 1933
Died February 16, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Dolly was born and raised in Liverpool, England. She was the daughter of John and Ellen (Waters) Kelly. Dolly attended England schools and graduated from the London School of Music. After graduation, she met Jack Niebur while he was station in England with the U.S. Army. She moved to the United States and married Jack on May 3, 1958 in Minnesota. After marriage, they farmed in Minnesota until 1966 when they moved to Plum City where they continued to farm and raised their family. Dolly remained in Plum City the rest of her life.
Dolly was a member of St. John’s Parish and St. John’s Alter Society. She loved to grow flowers, go shopping and most of all; she loved to spend time with family and friends.
Dolly is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack, one son Kevin (Punky) of Plum City, one daughter Pam (Mike) Marthaler of Maiden Rock, five grandchildren, Spencer Niebur, Rachel (Matt) Bowen, Lucas Niebur, Rollie Johnson and Tyler Niebur, one great granddaughter, Madison Bowen, four sisters, Margaret (Tony) Walsh, Mary (Dave) Hellon, Bernadette “Babs” Rogers and Helen (Owen) Rafferty, one brother, Joe Kelly, all of England, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and Jared Kelly and one sister Renee Griffiths.
