Leslie Jean Mathison, age 61, died unexpectedly February 3, 2020 in Richfield, MN. She was born November 28, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN to Harlen and Pauline (Weckwerth) Mathison. Leslie moved from the Twin Cities to Durand with her family in 1972. She graduated from Durand High School in 1977. Leslie then attended District One Technical Institute (CVTC) in the clothing construction program. After completing the program, she went to work for Munsing Wear in Minneapolis, as a seamstress. Leslie resided in the Twin Cities area her entire adult life until her death.

Leslie is survived by her mother; Pauline Mathison of Plum City, sisters; Laurie (David) Bauer of Nelson and Christie Mathison of Red Wing, MN, Neices; Tracee (Russ) Wilkerson of Durand and Gennah (Nick) Bremer of Waumandee, nephews; Justin (Lindsay Rehberg) Bauer of Nelson and Adam (Amber) Bauer of Nelson, great neices and nephews; Marissa Rehberg, Shaelynn Bauer, Rylee Rosenberg, Kyan Rosenberg, Bray Wilkerson, Sienna Bremer and Axel Bremmer, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father; Harlan Mathison.

Private family services will be held in Westby, WI.

   My condolences. Leslie was a great friend of mine in high school. I haven’t seen her in many years. She was a lovely person and a good friend.
