Diane was the daughter of James and Joyce (Ebensperger) Herbison. She was born and raised in Plum City and graduated from Plum City High School in 1983. Following high school she attended UW-Stevens Point. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from UW-River Falls and then attended veterinary school at UW-Madison. Diane moved back to the Plum City and married Joe Fisher on May 27, 2000. She graduated as a medical lab technician from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire and recently worked at the Midlefort Clinic- Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
Diane’s interests include gardening, landscaping, going for nature walks, shooting pool and playing cards. Her second love was caring for animals. Diane’s caring nature showed in her volunteer work, most recently at the Seasons in Plum City.
Dian is survived by her husband, Joe, her mother Joyce Herbison of Plum City, two sisters, Rita Dahms of St. Croix Falls, Linda (Rod) Glampe of Elmwood, eight brothers, Bill of Plum City, Dan (Stella Noyce) of Albuquerque, NM, Claire (Peggy) of Irma, Bob (Rachel) of Plum City, Rodney (Donna) of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Leslie of Eau Claire, Larry of St. Paul, MN and twin brother, Dave (Rachel) of Hastings, MN, many nieces and nephews including, a God Daughter, Cassidy. She is preceded in death by her father, James Herbison.
