Margaret was the daughter of Joseph and Mayme (Kitchner) Robelia. She was born and raised in the town of Eau Galle, Dunn County. Margaret married Joseph Risler May 3, 1939 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle and they were married for 63 years. To this union four children were born, three boys and one girl. After marriage they farmed on the home farm at Lima for a short time. They then moved to the Exile area where they farmed until 1947. They later moved to a farm in rural Plum City and farmed there until 1971 when they moved into the village of Plum City. Margaret became a resident of the Plum City Care Center on May 3, 2001. Her husband Joseph passed away August 7, 2002.
Margaret enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, and sewing. She also enjoyed playing cards, dice, and dominos.
Margaret is survived by three sons Robert of Downing, Larry of Attica, Indiana, Don (Lynda) of Bay City, one daughter Mary Jane (Richard) Bunce of Hager City, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two brothers Carl Robelia of Durand and Joe Robelia of Roseville, Minnesota and one sister-in-law Eva Robelia of Gratoit. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, two brothers Lyle Robelia and Lloyd Robelia, two daughters-in-law Shirley Risler and Linda Risler, two sisters-in-law Rosemary Robelia and Helen Robelia.
