Gail A. Caturia

Gail A. Caturia age 71, of Durand, died Friday May 23, 2025 at the Plum City Care Center in Plum City.

Gail was born May 21, 1954, in Durand.  She was the daughter of Sidney and Carol (Hallingstad) Robertson and grew up in the Meridean area.  Gail attended and graduated from Durand High School in 1972.  She attended Chippewa Vallely Technical School in Eau Claire and received her degree in nursing.  Gail married Ronald J. Caturia March 31, 1973, in Plum City and had two children and later divorced.  Gail worked for Tecumseh Engines in New Holstein for several years.  She returned to the Plum City and they purchased the Center Bar in Plum City. After a few years they sold the bar and took over the Caturia family farm.  Gail enjoyed farming and all the animals that were on the farm.  Gail later moved   Katy, TX with her companion, Rob McMillins, and together they traveled extensively.  Gail was a fun loving person and caring person and wonderful mother.

Gail is survived by her two sons Josh Caturia of Arkansaw and Luke Caturia of Arkansaw; three grandchildren, Corbin, Noah and Averie; three siblings, Carla Buss of Elkhart Lake, WI, Julie Bauer of Orlando, FL and Scott Robertsons of Colfax.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steve Robertson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday May 31, 2025, at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand.
