Obituary
Virginia R. Schuler - 02-27-2010The world has lost a loving & caring person. Virginia R. “Ginnie” Schuler passed away on Saturday February 27, 2010 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. Ginnie was born May 11, 1922 in Spring Valley. She was the daughter of Rollie and Ruby (Buckley) Traynor, grew up in Spring Valley and graduated from Spring Valley High School. Ginnie married Bernard A. Schuler on September 27, 1945. They resided in Spring Valley where Ginnie owned and operated the Spring Valley Beauty Shop. They moved to Elmwood where they lived and raised their family. After 40 years in Elmwood, Bernie and Ginnie enjoyed their retirement at their lake home in Birchwood and their winters in Arizona. Ginnie is survived by her husband, Bernard; two sons, Dan (Jan) of Elmwood; Jon (Arlene) of Colfax; three grandchildren, Brent (Lisa) of Menomonie; Amy & Jenny both of Colfax. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Beth O’Connell and Rosalie Root. Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday March 3, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie with Rev. Thomas Krieg officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery-Farm Hill Elmwood. Friends may call from 9:00 AM Wednesday until the time of the services at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie.
